About Us

       A member of the Stovall family was diagnosed with leukemia in September of 2000.  During the long hospital stays required to complete the rounds of chemotherapy treatments and a bone marrow transplant, the family began to realize a great need.  Many people they met during this time had endured months and years of costly medical treatments resulting in financial hardships.  Patient's family members often found themselves having to sleep in the hospital waiting room for days or weeks at a time because they simply could not afford the cost of a nearby hotel room.

     Patients and their family members often travel many miles from their homes in order to receive long term treatments at specialized medical centers.  Treatments of this kind require the patients to stay at or near the facility.

     God has given the Stovall family a burden and a vision to provide a place that would help patients and their families who find themselves in this type of situation.  The Stovall Hope Foundation, Inc. was established to support this ministry.

The Stovall Hope Foundation, Inc. has

opened The Hospitality Lodge in order

to provide this type of housing.
